From Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, or the south

For those travelling from Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, or more generally from the south, it is also possible to reach Grignan from the A7 by passing through the Bollène area.

On the road, the scenery begins to give you a glimpse of what awaits you for the weekend. Depending on your route, you may pass through or discover iconic villages of the region such as Réauville, Valaurie, Roussas, Montségur-sur-Lauzon, or Chamaret. How do I get there by train from Paris?

Montélimar station: the nearest station

From Paris, you can reach Montélimar station by train, either directly or with a connection depending on the schedule, then complete the journey to Grignan by car. It is the closest station to the estate and generally the most practical solution for then reaching Grignan by car, taxi, or rental vehicle. For a wedding bringing together many Parisian guests, it can also be convenient to organise car-sharing, vehicle rentals, or private transport to complete the final part of the journey together.

Avignon TGV or Valence TGV: what are the alternatives?

Avignon TGV is another possibility, particularly for guests arriving from Paris or those wishing to enjoy a few extra days in Provence. It then takes about an hour by car to reach Les Terres de Sarson. Valence TGV can also be a good option depending on your departure city and the available train times. It is also about an hour from the estate.

The choice of station will therefore depend primarily on your departure city, the available train schedules, and the arrangements made for your guests.

How long does it take from Lyon or Marseille?

From Lyon, it takes about two hours by car to reach the estate.
